What’s Happening in the Market?

Nitrile gloves are made using a key raw material called Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR). Recently, geopolitical tensions involving Iran and the Strait of Hormuz, a critical global shipping route, have significantly disrupted the availability of essential petrochemical feedstocks used to produce NBR.

As a result, the global supply of NBR has dropped to extremely low levels, with some sources indicating that availability is nearly nonexistent in the short term. This has created immediate and substantial upward pressure on production costs for nitrile gloves worldwide.

Because of these unprecedented supply constraints and cost increases, we are implementing an immediate price adjustment across our nitrile glove products.
